Cardiology Mission Trip

February 21 – March 2, 2025
A dedicated team of 12 volunteers traveled to Cambodia for a general cardiology mission from February 21 to March 2, 2025. The group included two cardiologists, two cardiac ultrasonographers, and four pre-medical students, among others. Together, they evaluated 97 patients with cardiac valvular disease and identified 27 individuals in urgent need of surgery.
Thanks to generous donations, $75,000 was allocated to fund these life-saving surgeries, which will be performed by our local Cambodian surgical team—some trained during previous missions.
The trip also served as an invaluable educational and cultural experience for the pre-medical students, who gained first hand exposure to clinical cardiology and developed lasting friendships within the local community.
In addition, a contract was signed to initiate Phase Two of our ongoing building project, marking an exciting step forward in expanding access to cardiac care in the region.
